There’s a Deep Freeze Coming, and We Need Volunteers!
It is time to get ready for our 2nd annual Deep Freeze Festival. Two days of excitement are planned for Saturday January 10 and Sunday January 11.
Just when you thought the holiday festivities were over, along comes Deep Freeze to provide some serious winter cheer! Alberta Avenue will be the home to family activities including an enchanted ice and snow garden, outdoor curling, free hay rides, broom ball and snowshoeing, snow sculpting workshops, indoor art experiences, ancient music, delicious food – and more!
Would you like to be a part of the excitement on the Ave?
We NEED volunteers!
I hope that you will be able to help out.
On Saturday we need people through out the day and evening and on Sunday during the afternoon/early evening. We also need a few people Friday afternoon for set up.
We need people for: Kitchen, tickets, info, clean up/set up, children’s activities, security, etc.
All volunteers will receive 2 tickets to: Melt the Deep Freeze! Dance – 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm with Tilo Paiz and America Rosa – Sizzling Latin Rhythms.
If you are able to help out please email Judy Allan at judy.allan@edmonton.ca or call her at 780-496-1913. Let her know which day and times you are available.
