The Great Poetry Giveaway

This month, The Carrot and Arts On The Ave present The Great Poetry Giveaway.

Keep your eyes open for the big `poetry jar` on the counter at The Carrot Community Arts Coffeehouse in about a week’s time. Here’s how The Great Poetry Giveaway works. With every coffee purchase, you will receive a poem. The jar will be filled with poems that school children and other community members  have written on same size paper, rolled around a pencil, & tied with a ribbon. It will be your free gift just for stopping in and grabbing a coffee! We hope your day will brighten as they read these poems.  After you’ve read it, you can take the poem home or leave it with us (to be taped onto a window at the Carrot).
