Scotland’s makar, Liz Lochhead, is not only a brilliant and much-loved poet, but also a celebrated playwright. She has translated and adapted Euripides and Molière into rhyming Scots, penned romantic comedies and plays for young people, and scripted films. Her works are performed around the world.
Join us as Liz reads some of her poems and dramatic passages and a scene or two from one of her plays is brought to life by Edmonton actors. She’ll chat with Kim McCaw, Director, of the Canadian Centre for Theatre Creation.
