No Open Mic This Saturday Night – But Still Great Music

Wednesday, September 8th, 2010

There will be no Carrot Open Mic this Saturday night, but the Ave will still be moving to sweet sounds.

We have decided to cancel the Open Mic this week because there are already so many things going on near The Carrot that night. You’ll be able to catch acts like The Colleen Brown Band, Chris Wynters, Jacob and Lily, Booming Tree and Dehli2Dublin on the main stage just down the road. You can also take in the art in our gallery spaces or catch Homeless, a stunning one-man play by Jeremy Baumung.

So as you can see, there is no shortage of entertainment. And when you want a cozy, comfortable sanctuary from all the busy bustle of Kaleido, The Carrot will still have open doors, waiting to serve you a cup of coffee and community.

See you on The Ave this weekend – and back at the Open Mic again starting September 18.
