Snow Globe Festival of Children’s Theatre

Thursday, December 22nd, 2011

Come down to Avenue Theatre (9030 118 Ave) for the Snow Globe Festival of Children’s Theatre! The festival runs from December 20-24.

The festival has three productions specifically for young audiences and offers an accessible and affordable alternative to holiday events. A festival pass ranges from $19.75 to $28.00. For that you get to see all three productions, plus the Holiday Half Time Show. Tickets to individual shows are $8 to $10.

Ellen Chorley, the artistic director of Promise Productions and producer of the festival, has an amazing track record with Theatre for Young Audiences at the Fringe, as well as high school residencies and a collection of other accomplishments.

There have already been over 1300 student tickets sold to the festival and they’re hoping the evening shows will be equally as successful.
