Kaleido celebrates 5 years of igniting art in the community!

Kaleido celebrates artist and audience with music, dance, film, theatre, visual & literary arts on historic Alberta Avenue.

NON-PROFIT FOR THE COMMUNITY

Arts on the Ave Edmonton Society believes in sharing art and celebrating community through participatory events and traditions that promote Alberta Avenue’s neighbourhoods between NAIT and Northlands. Founded in 2006, this grassroots initiative creates opportunities to experience the joy of artistic expression and nurture creative environments.

The signature projects of Arts on the Ave include: Kaleido Family Arts Festival, Deep Freeze: A Winter Byzantine Festival, The Carrot Community Arts Coffeehouse, Social Art Experiences, That Bloomin’ Garden Show & Art Sale, and the new performing and visual arts centre in the Old Cycle building.

The Kaleido Family Arts Festival is powered by dozens of volunteers from the Alberta Avenue communities and beyond. We count on the tireless efforts of our volunteers to keep the arts and the community thriving on the Ave. Raising an espresso in your honour!
