Saturday Workshops

PAPER MAKING [12–5 pm]

Nina Haggerty Centre for the Arts (9225 – 118 Ave) Julie Drew, a professional artist, has been making and working with handmade paper for over 15 years. She uses various combinations of cattail, thistle, poplar fluff, other seeds, blue jeans and more to create beautiful papers. Julie shares her knowledge and teaches others to express themselves by creating unique pieces of paper—an art in itself.

ARTIST TRADING CARDS [12–5 pm]

Nina Haggerty Centre for the Arts (9225 – 118 Ave) Sprucewood Branch of the Edmonton Public Library presents an Artists Trading Cards session. Create miniature works of art. Pocket art that you can trade! Have your work exhibited at the Sprucewood Library. Sponsored by EPL.ca
