Saturday brings an all day arts celebration to the Ave. After a free breakfast, there’ll be live music, visual art galleries, creative collaboration, latte’s brewing at The Carrot, fun for the kids, theatre productions, hands-on workshops and so much more. Find out the details below.

Joe Bird Ale House (No Minors)

In a tribute to our old friend and performing artist, the late Joe Bird, we have created a gathering place to quaff a cold one or just hang out with friends. The Joe Bird Ale House ROCKS OUTSIDE! Just North of the Alberta Avenue Community League (9210 – 118 Ave).

Graffiti Art With Lasers (GAL)

Saturday at Dusk
Paul Bezaire & Bradley Moss.
Project GAL is the product of new technology that can video project live laser graffiti and images onto large surfaces such as entire buildings. GAL will be projected onto the west wall of the Old Cycle Building (9141–118 Ave) Celebrating the exciting change on the Avenue.

Experience Art – Project Spill!

Come down to Avenue Theatre and catch all the action (9030–118 Avenue). Experience Art! All ages welcome!

SPILL (ECGAS) [Saturday 12–6 pm]

Check out the latest ECGAS (Edmonton Common Ground Arts Society) art gallery, paint a model or create an abstract piece alongside dozens of other artists, and participate in some neat workshops. Come and spill some paint with us!
