			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Phase One of the 118th Avenue Initiative Streetscape Improvements are pretty much complete!  All the hard work has paid off…the Avenue looks fantastic.  We are celebrating the new Streetscape with a big party on the Avenue!</p>
<p>I have attached a copy of the Eastwoodfest Street dance Celebration handbill with schedule.  At 1pm there will be speeches from Councillor Gibbons and Councillor Caterina.  At the same time the Streetscape Working Group will be recognized.  I hope that you will be able to attend!</p>
<h2>EASTWOODFEST AND STREET DANCE CELEBRATION.</h2>
<p>On Saturday, August 15, the Avenue will come alive with entertainment, music, festivities, and great food, including a free pancake breakfast. 118th Avenue from 82 &#8211; 87 Street will be closed to traffic while we celebrate the beautiful new Streetscape Improvements. There will be live music, street performers, an antique car show, and an arts market. Enjoy local renowned artists, including Edmonton’s own Captain Tractor, the Wambats, and more!
