Volunteer for Kaleido – Be Part of a Celebration!

Come help the arts and the neighbourhood by volunteering at one of Edmonton’s best and most eclectic festivals. The Kaleido Family Arts festival is a visual art, music, theatre and dance festival that takes place at various venues on 118 ave, from Sept. 10 to 12. We are looking for volunteers to help with the following tasks;

  • Security
  • Supervising the children’s carnival
  • Selling raffle tickets
  • Supervising the donation bin
  • Setting up and tearing down
  • Hosting the art gallery
  • Running errands (person needs a car)
  • Acting as fire marshals to supervise bonfire

Here are shift times:

Friday, Sept. 10 evening: 5 to 10 pm
Saturday, Sept 11 for duties listed above: 9 am to 1 pm, 1 to 6 pm, and 6 to 11
Sunday, Sept. 12 for duties listed above 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
Sunday for tear down and clean up: 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm

We could also use assistance lifting, moving items, and doing carpentry on Friday, Sept. 10, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm

Volunteer Orientation

There is a volunteer orientation on Monday, August 30, at the Alberta Avenue Community League at 9210 118 Avenue. It is not mandatory, but it would be helpful if you could attend.
