Join Mik Germann and his crew of needle felters at The Carrot this Saturday, December 10 at The Carrot (9351 118th ave). This round will involve making Christmas ornaments!

From Mik,

On December 10 from 1:30 to 4 pm
At the Carrot I will doing another Needle felting drop in
I supply all materials and tools

This time we will be making Christmas orniments.
Make a couple of Christmas orniments leave one for on the Carrot Christmas tree

Bring a freind drop in learn how to neelde felt and have a great cup of of coffee with freinds or make new freinds

The Carrot Christmas Arts Bazaar – Saturday November 19th, 9:30am-4:30pm

Are you looking for a venue to sell your fine craft this holiday season? Join fellow artisans at The Carrot Community Arts Coffeehouse (9531-118 Ave) on Saturday November 19th. This event runs in conjunction with the Just Christmas global fair trade market, so we expect a busy shop!

Register early as table space is limited!

Registration deadline: November12th

Table fee: $40

The Carrot Curatorial Committee is looking for some items to help us display art and artisan pieces at The Carrot. If you have any of the following, please get in touch with us.

  • hammer
  • heavy duty wire cutters
  • pliers
  • 1 X roll of bronze/brass colored chain
  • 1X roll of silver colored chain
  • 1 X roll of decorative cord (neutral in color)
  • 1X roll of decorative ribbon (3 ” wide/heavy/neutral color)
  • 20 X bronze/brass colored S rings
  • 20X silver colored S rings

Emerging Artists Sell Their Wares at The Carrot

We are pleased to continue the 3rd Carrot Christmas Arts Bazaar.  If you open up the PDF file, you will see all the great events and opportunities on Alberta Ave.  We are growing and would love to have you participant in any capacity.

We are looking for vendors for our Christmas Bazaar.  Please post or send to anyone that you think may be interested.  This year we will be in the Old Cycle Building, The Carrot and…We work together with “Just Christmas – Free Trade Christmas Sale” kitty corner at the Community Centre that weekend…a busy weekend for on the Ave!

Dates and times are:
November 26 Friday, 5:30 – 9:30pm
November 27th Saturday, 9:00 – 4:00pm
For a fee of $45, you get a 6′ x 4′ space, and can bring a wall behind the table if you wish…

Young Artists Have Their Day at The Carrot

This year we are again having a special day for our young artists (and very young artists) to sell their art creations at the Carrot Community Arts Coffeehouse (9351-118 Ave). www.thecarrot.ca

The event is on Saturday November 20, 2010 from 1:00-4:00pm.
