Our lovely little coffee house is completely volunteer driven so we are always looking for baristas, hosts for our open mic stage on Saturday nights, cashiers, and those interested in helping with special events. July is a great month at The Carrot with some wonderful and new events, including People in Pants live improv, The Summer Sonnet Soire and this week “Stomp” the Hood will be hosted by musician Jon Jon Rivero as we turn a back alley into a conservatory of rhythms!

We are a Community Arts Coffeehouse sprouting up from the fertile ground of the Alberta Avenue arts revolution. You can find us at 9351-118 ave in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. We’re open most of the time, but you can get detailed hours here. Every Friday and Saturday night we feature live art - be it music, poetry, drama, comedy - whatever. During the week, you may also find artists busy at their craft while you sip your excellent espresso.What we are really all about is Community and Art. Come in and see for yourself.
