Arts on the Ave lives, works, plays and creates in the Alberta Avenue Arts District
Arts on the Ave Edmonton Society is a registered non-profit, charity organization, engaged in developing Alberta Avenue (NAIT to Northlands) into a community arts district.
Begun in 2005 and incorporated into a Society in 2007, this creative coalition has experienced exponential growth with a current involvement of over 200 multi-disciplinary artists and invested community members. AOTA is committed to offering the arts pulse of Alberta Avenue through their many unique community programs.
AOTA is headquartered at The Carrot Community Arts Coffeehouse (9351 – 118 Ave). The Carrot is a volunteer-powered, not-for-profit coffeehouse. It has become a bohemian, comfortable hub for meeting and making friends, enjoying various art forms and connecting people.
Make your way down to Alberta Avenue, learn more about AOTA and pop into the Carrot to enjoy direct trade coffee and live / open stages.
